I purchased a knit Kit after seeing them several times and thinking they seemed a little 'gadgety' - but I was lured in by the pretty turquoise color and convinced myself it would be handy for travel. I found myself really liking and it and reaching for it often. Unfortunately, the number counter gave out after a couple of months. Here's where the story gets good. I sent an email to Knit Kit telling them nicely what had happened. They promptly requested my home address and color preference for replacement and I received it quickly. That is stellar customer service and an example of a company that stands firmly behind it product. A very pleasant surprise! I recommend this product as 'worth it'!

I thought I might use this only when traveling, but I've been keeping it in my knitting basket, and I use it all the time. It has all the basics in one handy & compact case. This would make a great stocking stuffer for your favorite knitter!

I carry this around with me in my knitting bag that I take everywhere. If you're like me, you knit (or crochet)at the doctor's office, on breaks at work, long car rides, etc. It is compact and works PERFECT for basic needs that a knitter may need. It is porbably the best thing for any "on-the-go knitter", though I have also reached for it while knitting in front of the T.V.!

I won this kit(in the white and pink) several years ago and loved it. This new one is just as great and I love the two crochet hooks on one wand. I am disabled so I don't get out much, and I used these two kits all the time here at home. I keep one with each of my working projects. So don't think you just need this kit to travel. This will be the tool you'll reach for first. I promise.

I was looking for something to take when traveling. I am not so sure I like the plastic case it is in. I almost would prefer the items to be separate in a folded cloth case with compartments. It does serve the purpose, however. pd in Tampa
