Neither my husband nor myself are much at carpentry and we are both in our 70s but we were able to build this without much trouble. I have made a quilt for our soon to be born great-grandson on this frame and love the results. The frame was easy to use, and I am a beginner at quilting.

We still haven't gotten it together as we were short alot of the hardware to put it together. I am in hopes that it will be together soon.

Great but not for the woodworking novice.Aug 11, 2008
I am thrilled with this kit as it means I'll have a quilting frame within my price range. I have read through the instructions and am glad my husband has good basic woodworkng skills as I think it may be beyond me. I'm quite capable of putting up a curtain rod but this is a bit much. Having said that the instructions are excellent, I can see exactly what I need to do, just doubt my ability to execute. I highly reccomend this product. Now if i could just find enough time to actually quilt!
