Worth every penny for large projects!Feb 18, 2010

I purchased this when I was working on an 11" x 7" wedding record with a complex pattern. The frame is very easy to put together (I did it myself, with no help from the husband!), holds tension in a way that met my expectations, and made my progress much faster. The feet come loose once in a while, but the wing nuts are easy to tighten. I now feel confident attempting large and complicated projects, and I can get them done in record time!

About the best stand I've ever usedMar 26, 2010

I've been cross stitching for years and have tried just about every stand there is, and this is the best floor stand I've had. It was very easy to set up and the fabric was really easy to put on the split rods, which I've never tried before and I love them. The fabric stays nice and tight on the frame, making it very easy to stitch. It took me a little while to figure out which knobs to turn to be able to get to the back to start and finish stitching, but now I've got it down and I do the same thing every time with no problems. The stand is very easy to adjust to the perfect height for your chair (I use a regular office chair) and it's super light-weight, which makes it really easy to move out of the way when I need to. I keep mine up all the time so I'm ready to stitch whenever I have a minute.

I was working on a larger than normal (for me) needlepoint project, and realized that a stand type frame might help. Amazon (my go to place) had several types and brands, but this one rotated so the project could be held at an angle, if necessary. I ordered it, my husband put it together for me and the rest is history. I LOVE IT! It's flexible, very adjustable for how the project sits on my lap, etc., and the split dowel holds the canvas in very well. Also, I have fewer muscle aches when stitching too long. You will want to sit in a chair with no arms, as they may get in the way of the frame while stitching your project. Happy needlework to you all!

I am so glad I found this stand for my cross stitch it is just what I needed.
Easy to assemble and it is just the right hight for me to set and do my cross stitch while I enjoy relaxing in the evening. It is great
Family has seen this product and friends and they all love it.

Excellent item! Wood is smooth to the touch. Stand is easily assembled. It was so wonderful to receive an item with all its parts present. It is like a quality item made 50 years ago when you expected it to be sturdy and you could count on it lasting for many, many years. It is also lovely to look at, with a classic quality that will enhance rather than detract from your decor. It holds my tapestry securely. Would recommend to anyone!
