Nice quality but mine didn't come with the extra smaller piece shown in photoJun 13, 2010 Nice quality, very easy and quick to put together. Waiting for my longstitch kit to arrive so can't talk about putting the canvas into the slats yet. I love the adjustability. However, I never got the extra piece that is shown on the photo which is placed into the frame part. Is anyone else missing that piece? Do you really need it? Adjustable Table/Lap Stand

easy needleworkMar 03, 2010 I used this product more than 20 years ago, and paid a small fortune for it. I'm so excited that I have this adjustable stand, whatsmore, it cost a fraction of what I paid for it in the 1980's. It makes working on my project that much easier and more relaxing. I recommend that everyone who works on needlepoint, crewel, bargello, etc. have this itme on hand, to simplify their lives.

Looks good, Poor performanceFeb 06, 2010 Split wood dowel fabric holder design is not able to hold the fabric tight --> loose at the center.

Craft standDec 23, 2009 I didn't even know they made such a thing as this anymore. It is absolutely the greatest little invention ever. It holds my needlepoint project perfectly while I sit and talk or watch TV. It comes in pieces and I'm not very mechanical, so someone else put it together for me. I would highly recommend this little stand to anyone who can't stand to just sit idly, doing nothing.

Useful and very handyDec 16, 2009 This item is a great product for those projects which can fit into the space allotted. It was too small for my particular project but that was easily remedied with the help of a few clips. But for my future smaller projects (my current on is a bit ambitious) the size of this product is ideal. The screws come loose when I turn and tilt the frame too much, but that is to be expected with anything involved screws that are not to be permanently secured.
Now, the only problem I had with this product was the shipping price. I bought this online thinking that I would have to pay around the same $30 at my local craft store. However, upon visiting said craft store I discovered that it stocked and sold scroll frames for around $12. I cannot vouch for the quality of the less expensive item, but I certainly would have considered it. But as I have already bought it and used it, I can say I am very satisfied and would purchase again if shipping rates were lowered.
