If you're doing an extremely large piece of tunisian crochet or you need a length that is not in the standard set without adding several extensions, this set is something I would suggest getting to help with that. It could stand to have a few more extenders (at least two more), but that's my main problem with it. The locking system on a few of them were a little too tight on some of the buttons when I first got it but they were fine after actually using them a couple of times. Also, I wish they had some sort of case that they had come in so that everything isn't just rolling around loose, but I guess I can make one for them. Other than that, they're great. I love the color, also. I purchased just a standard Denise Interchangeable Crochet Hooks set so they're the standard dark blue and I love the lavender with them. That's just aesthetics, though. On the other hand, they are easier to see behind both dark and light yarn. Assuming the yarn isn't also lavender.
