5Well worth the $Apr 25, 2011
By Studio 24 "Quilterbee"
Well worth the money spent. I cut 140 rag blocks in about 30 min. Using denim and flannel, I layered just 2 layers wrong sides together so they were ready to quilt and piece. If I had to cut the fringe with a pair of scissors, I would have never made this quilt, lol. The die cuts the fringe for you!! Amie

4Rag SquareJan 10, 2011

This die provides accurate squares but I can only cut two flannel squares at a time and it's great upper body exercise - I'm not sure it's less work or less time than using a rotary cutter and scissors. Overall though, it works as advertised and is well made.

3Accuquilt Die, 8.5 inch rag squareNov 04, 2011
By Dottie J
Normally, I love all my accuquilt cutting dies. This one does the job, but is a pain inasmuch as only (2) layers may be cut at one time and even after many, many cuts, there is still difficulty at times getting the die thru the machine. Also, it is a bit of trouble to keep clean.

I knew these probs before buying as I had read other reviews. However, I did expect getting the die through the machine to get easier after "breaking" the die in. Mine is still hard to do after over 50 cuts.

The squares with fringe cut looks good. You just have to weigh if the trouble working with it is worth it or not.

5So much fun!Jan 31, 2012
By Warmpuppy
This was the first die I bought when I got the Accuquilt for Christmas. I had never made a rag quilt before, and this die made it so easy to do. I had so much fun picking out the flannels and rearranging them, and the results were terrific. If you're wanting to do a quick weekend project, or need a baby quilt at the last minute, this die is the way to go! I completed my first 45x45 quilt in 48 hours. Only down side is that the die takes a bit of arm strength to get through the rollers, and you really can't cut more than 2 layers at a time.

This Accuquilt Go rag square is a great way and easy way to make a quilt. The price was reasonable and it is so accurate when cutting your pieces. My package arrived promptly as it always does!
