One of the things I learned from years of loving kitchen gadgets is that the right tool, especially if it was high quality, can make all the difference. It can make the mundane tasks fun. Sewing has become much easier since I invested in good cutting implements.
I am a huge Gingher fan. I have to say I expected more from this product. I haven't had any issues with the blade. I was just expecting it to feel more like a Gingher product. It's ergonomic, but I was hoping for something a little heavier.
This did not replace my traditional seam ripper. Which I reach for depends on the type of stitch I'm trying to rip out. This is quicker than a traditional seam ripper, but sometimes you need the point on the other kind, instead of the flat blade on this. This is a nice addition to your sewing box, but not a must-have.
