5Very versatile pattern, professional looking productDec 10, 2010

The Liverpool pattern allows you to make a shirt, tunic or dress in 2 lengths. It has 2 sets of pattern pieces, one set to cut for for XS, S and M sizes and one set for L, XL and XXL. They are tissue paper pattern pieces.

This pattern is very detailed. The instructions and companion illustrations are very clear to follow. However, i would not want to try this as a complete beginner. It has you sewing french seams and top stitching seams which results in a very professional look but not the kind of thing I would want to do as a first project. Some of it i think could be skipped if i wanted a dress in a hurry - as it stands this is not a one afternoon kind of project.

So far I have only made one tunic from it but plan to make more. I think this pattern is going to get plenty of use so justifies the price.
