E-Z Stitch Lap Stand 06/05/2010Jun 05, 2010 At last a stand that actually works! I've had this product for a while and am very satisfied with it. It is all that it claims to be I would encourage potential purchasers to also purchase the extension bar to use with it.
Great Cross Stitch standJan 06, 2010 My wife does all of these incredible cross stitched things. While she watches TV, she has her hoop in her hands, and is busy stitching away.
As she told me, she was getting older, and her hand would start to hurt after a couple of hours holding her hoop.
We had looked at a couple of stands, but some seemed to be just too big or complicated.
This one is neat. It sits under your legs to hold it steady. She can use it whether she is in a chair or lying on the bed. Good size for normal stitched projects.
Unfortunately, the project she is working on now is an afghan, and is too big to fit into this stand. She works on individual squares at a time, but it is all part of an 8 foot afghan for our youngest niece.
But, as soon as she is done with that project, she will be setting it up for her new wall hanging.

AWESOME STAND!Sep 22, 2009 I have purchsed several stitching stands that were inadequate or just wouldn't function with a recliner. I even bought one that was designed to work specifically with recliners. I've wasted hundreds of dollars until I found this stand.
I am an avid advanced cross-stitcher and can sometimes stitch in excess of 12 hours a day when I'm in the middle of a project. This stand is so easy to use. My hands and arms never get tired from repeatedly having to change positions from top to bottom to complete stitches. I can easily have one hand on top of the work and one beneath it. This allows me to stitch more efficiently and it keeps my threads from frequently twisting. I love how it can accomodate several sizes of scroll frames. I can adjust the distance my work is away from me or pull the stand close up if I need too. It is very comfortable to sit on and doesn't impeded circulation or cause any discomfort. I stitch in a recliner and this is the only stand that works to my satisfaction.
It's worth EVERY cent!

E-Z Stitch Lap Stand, Yes it is E-Z.Dec 16, 2008 This is exactly what I was looking for. Very easy to work with and easy to set aside when not in use. Quality also very good which makes it easier to be more confident to finish/complete projects.

Great Product!Jun 28, 2008 My wife, Mary, says, "This is the best frame I have ever used. It is of solid construction and holds my work firmly and comfortably. My left wrist doesn't hurt for the first time in over a year! The frame is also so attractive I don't mind leaving it out in the living room!"
